Some 26 years old, the ASICS GEL-Nimbus was in its 10th iteration when it released in 2008. The swooping metallic panels, asymmetrical toe box and lashings of technical mesh all scream early-2000s. Compared with the OG there's a twist. For the first time GEL-Nimbus is graced with a big-dog Kayano sole unit—lifted from the GEL-Kayano 14, this GTX version also harbours a GORE-TEX® membrane and branding to help keep your feet dry. Whilst similar to the original tooling, the Kayano midsole adds extra GEL for max cushioning.
